Presenters

Caroline Park

Caroline Park works with nurseries in Gloucestershire developing Child Movement Programmes.  She was previously a lecturer at Manchester Met University working in Child Movement and coaching.  As Head of PE at Millfield Prep, she was in charge of developing the pre-prep PE programme. Subsequently she was Director of Sport at Cheltenham College and now she is Head of PE at Cumnor House School.

Kate Bousfield Thornton

Kate is Development Manager for Physical Literacy at the Youth Sport Trust. As part of this role she support subject coordinators in developing PE, School Sport and Healthy Active Lifestyles and use the values of Sport to have an impact on attitudes to learning, achievement and behaviour. Kate taught PE and was and Senior Manager in schools in the north west before joining the Youth Sport Trust in 2006. She had a key role in the pilot of the physical literacy curriculum in 2009.
