6th Annual National Prep Schools' Rugby Coaching Conference

The main part of the programme will be delivered by England's 2007 World Cup Head Coach, Brian Ashton.  WIth an unrivalled international reputation as an innovative thinker and a coach of the attacking game, Brian will offer thoughts on the use of practice time in prep school programme, as well as practical advice and demonstration on how core skills can be introduced and developed.

There will be an update from the RFU on coach licensing, which will be introduced into the club game in January 2009.  Roger Uttley will provde news of the national expansion of the Barbarians concept, which will lead to a northern v southerm prep schools' final at Rugby School on 15th February.  Finally, Steve Shortland will provide a technical session on contemporary techniques in the ruck.
