Brian Ashton, England’s most innovative coach, has developed a new course on what he sees will be the next development in rugby coaching THIS COURSE IS UNIQUE AND HAS NEVER PREVIOUSLY BEEN DELIVERED TO COACHES AT ANY LEVEL Brian defines Transition Rugby as “the capacity to switch immediately from playing with possession to without it – and vice versa He believes that the changing nature of the game – especially played under ELVs – means that transition of possession will occur more frequently and unpredictably, and will provide the most fertile attacking opportunities. This therefore challenges the conventional division of the game into ATTACK and DEFENCE, to be treated in isolation in training. Using specially filmed, unique DVD, Brian investigates the opportunity to play quickly against a disorganised defence, from a variety of transition situations, including

• Turnover at the breakdown
