This is a new course intended for teachers delivering curriculum volleyball at Key Stages 3 and 4, and for those coaching volleyball teams. It will focus on building modern skills and tactics through contemporary approaches and practices. This practical course will also include technique demonstrations from leading players, subject to availability.

Developing modern techniques: dig, volley, serve
Finishing the attack
Skill drills and practices
From skill practice to match play
Small sided games for class teaching
Safety and equipment considerations
Refereeing: calls, signals and scoring
