Paul Nixon

Paul Nixon made his international Twenty:20 debut against Australia in 2007. Additionally, he played 19 One day Internationals, including all games in the World Cup in 2007. He is a leading member of the Leicestershire side which has reached the finals day of the Twenty:20 Cup each year since its inception in 2003, including victories in 2004 and 2006. The team was known for its innovative and thinking approach

This is a course for inexperienced coaches wishing to expand their knowledge of modern cricket techniques and practice methods. It is suitable for team coaches in the Under 11- Under 15 age range, as well as teachers of curriculum cricket. It will focus on all the basic skills of the modern game, and ways to develop them in both team and class situations. It will also consider traditional ways of practising cricket, and suggest more imaginative ways of running net and square sessions.
