Have your own referee training course

International Referee, Steve Lander, runs an ever popular course, which goes far beyond the laws themselves into practical advice for the schoolmaster referee, allowing him to create a framework of safety and equity in which rugby can break out. With skilled communication - with players and spectators - it is possible to apply the concept of materiality and game management, to make the game more exciting, and less fragmented, for all invoved. It also deals with the difficult question of parents on the touchline, and suggests practical strategies for reducing this stress.

Over 500 teachers have attended this course over the last four years. 

The course has been updated to include the new Experimental Law Variations, and how these should be applied in school rugby.
