Jon Bleby

Jon Bleby won 95 caps for Great Britain and England. He played in the GB team which finished fifth in the Beijing Olympics. He had previously played in the 2006 Commonwealth Games and World Cup and the European Cup of 2007. He later played in the team that won the gold medal in the 2008 Olympic Hockey Qualifying Tournament. He has won three national Indoor Championships with his club and played in European club competitions both Indoor & Outdoor.

The 7-a-side game - played at Under 13 and below - offers its own challenges for the coach.

 As well as the need to develop a base of modern skills, tactics and strategies must also be

 introduced if match play is to be successful.

This course interprets the most modern skills and strategies into a form that can be realistically

 coached to this age group.

 It aims to develop skilful players, who become part of successful teams.
