Karen Atkinson

Karen is the current England captain, and the most capped player ever, with 120 international appearances.  She will captain England to the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, having won bronze medals in the Games of 1998 and 2006. She has also played in two World Championships and three Superleague finals with Mavericks.

    This course aims to develop confidence in novice, or inexperienced, umpires.

  • It will ensure that teachers are familiar with the Rules, but also how they can be applied in the context school games to help create a flowing game.

  • Karen Atkinson combines her status as a leading international player with her experience as a teacher to provide invaluable help and confidence for umpires of school matches at all levels.
