Rugby Coaching for the Inexperienced Coach

This course is designed for teachers and coaches involved with the age group game from Under 12 to Under 15 levels. It introduces a range of skills and techniques necessary to create safe and imaginative practices, and enables coaches to create sessions which are enjoyable, interesting and effective.

Close attention is paid to the contact area, with emphasis on safe ways of playing and practising at scrum, tackle and ruck.

 It is intended to give coaches confidence that their methods are modern, stimulating and risk free.
