The role of Director of Sport has changed significantly in recent years, with additional pressures and priorities. This is a seminar for experienced Directors of Sport, and gives them a chance to reflect on new approaches to the difficult issues which they face. It considers trends in school sport, and how schools might adapt to face these it will also provide an opportunity to share views and experiences, and look to the future of school sport.

Neil Rollings

Neil was in charge of rugby at four independent schools over a 21 year career, including 10 years as Head Coach at Sedbergh.  He also coached North Schools and England Schools’ President’s XV.  He now advises independent schools on the development of sports coaching programmes, and is a member of the RFU Technical Advisory Group
