Details

The Prep School sector is a unique one. Expectations of sports provision can be considerable, with both parents and heads having extensive demands that can make the job feel impossible. This is a popular new seminar, specifically to address the issues faced by prep schools in sport. With pressures for both inclusivity and competitive success, the Director of Sport faces significant challenges in compiling a programme to meet all expectations. Parents can be intrusive, and resources often limited. This course addresses the practical issues faced by teachers in charge of prep school sport, and considers possible strategies and solutions.
