This is the fourth consecutive year that the England Sevens Head Coach, Ben Ryan, has conducted this fascinating insight into the current techniques, strategies and practice methods of the national sevens team.He will combine his experience at the very top of the game with his understanding of the circumstances of school sevens, from his previous role as a teacher.

He will look carefully at how the changing emphasis of the elite game can be applied to school teams.

With Sevens becoming an Olympic sport at Rio in 2016, worldwide interest in the game is steadily

rising. This increasing interest is percolating to school level in the form of a wider range of competitions at

all age groups, and a higher technical standard.

Ben will provide an insight into the changing nature of the game that England are trying to play, and show

how this has once again varied enormously in a year.

The emphasis on contact, ruck and offside line has been replaced by the aim of staying on the feet for offload and mini maul. Once again, this is a completely new programme, featuring all new material concerning the areas of the game that are currently under reconsideration.

As always, it will be supported by extensive and exclusive DVD illustrating how England squads

practice and perform to stay ahead the competition.
