Mark McGhee

 Mark McGhee was a professional footballer for almost 20 year, playing 500 league games at a variety of clubs including Newcastle United, Celtic and Hamburg. His greatest triumph came in 1983 when he was in the Aberdeen team that defeated Real Madrid to win the European Cup Winners' Cup. He also won four caps for Scotland. After retirement, he embarked upon a career in management, which included spells with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Millwall, Brighton and in the Premier League with Leicester City.

This new course will focus on the strategies and priorities that allow teams to turn

defence into attack.

 It will stress methods of regaining possession, followed by the importance of maintaining team shape to

maximise the attacking opportunities which it provides.

There will be a combination of DVD analysis and practical work which will illustrate how individual skills can combine

with team strategy to improve attacking effectiveness.
