Welcome to the Seventh Annual Prep Schools Netball Coaching Conference.
Once again, we are delighted to bring one of Australia’s top coaches to demonstrate how the game is coached “down under”. Shooting success is the biggest factor which determines the winners of Netball matches at all ages and playing levels. Lyn Pemberton will bring her considerable experience of coaching young players to show how shooting can be developed, improved and practised. Her structured approach will ensure that teachers can make their players more effective, and their teams more successful.
The lunchtime break-out sessions will be delivered by former England captain and Loughborough Lightning Head Coach, Olivia Murphy, who will illustrate defensive principles, and show how schools can apply these to the youngest levels of the game.
As always, the Conference aims to allow prep school teachers to experience what is current in the way of techniques and practice methods, both in this country and in the southern hemisphere. It will also how these methods can be used to develop the game in prep schools. It is intended to be inspiring and informative, to assist prep school coaches to give their players the very best start to their Netball careers.
