SEPTEMBER 2021 START
The Head of Hockey is a newly created role, stimulated by both the facility development and the school’s ambitions for the game. It provides a unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner to build a wide-ranging programme. The scope of the position is extensive, and the successful candidate will bring imagination, innovation and creative thinking. It is a potentially career-defining opportunity for the right person to make a lasting impact on the game.
The successful candidate will have a significant background – and status – in Hockey, as a player and coach. Experience in schools is desirable, though not essential, as are coaching qualifications, or the willingness to acquire them. The hours will be flexible, reflecting the varied nature of the position, but will involve a strong commitment to after-school, weekend and school holiday activities. Candidates will be expected to work with school teams on every Saturday during term times.
Please note that we are working with Independent Coach Education on this appointment.
