The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at St George’s seeks a talented and inspiring Director of Sport to develop and deliver a forward-thinking plan for Sport at St George’s, and lead a highly successful department in a way that ensures every student has the opportunity to be physically active and to develop the habits of a healthy lifestyle within our inclusive ethos.  

This is a post of strategic significance for St George’s, and the successful post holder will set high professional standards through strong leadership in all aspects of their work, delivering an exceptional curriculum and co-curriculum, to challenge all of our students, from 3 to 18. They will develop all aspects of sport and physical activity and establish a sector-leading culture of participation and ambition.

If you can demonstrate excellence in one of our sports, have a successful track record in teaching and leadership, and are looking for a new challenge in Sport, then we are interested in hearing from you.

All candidates will be expected to be GTCS registered before taking up post.
