We are seeking to appoint an experienced and visionary practitioner to oversee the next phase of sports development at Latymer. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the purpose and value of physical activity in a modern independent day school and be able to lead and inspire our heads of sport to deliver an inspirational programme that engages maximum participation.
With an ability to promote high performance and competitive success alongside ensuring that all pupils have access to high quality opportunities; you will be a convincing advocate for both competitive sport and for health-promoting fitness.
This will be an important ambassadorial role as the figurehead of Latymer sport and will involve building and maintaining positive relationships with pupils, parents, the community and the wider common room. You will also need to work closely with the Prep School to ensure that resources are efficiently deployed, and that the school provides a coherent physical experience for pupils from 7-18 years old.
As our new Director of Sport, you will ensure that exercise provision sits at the heart of the school’s wellbeing initiatives and positively influences the lives of the entire community.
