This long running Conference is the country’s leading meeting of teachers in charge of prep school Rugby. It is run is collaboration with the RFU, and will focus on what schools can do, on and off the field, to ensure that their Rugby provision is fit for purpose in the 21st century.
This theory-based course is aimed at coaches working in schools at 1st & 2nd XV level. It will include considerable technical detail on how attacks and defences are now structured, coached and developed and how effective management of both players and staff can help to create a winning high-performance environment.
In a volatile and challenging environment for independent schools, activities beyond the classroom remain a vital part of the education, business and charitable offer of the sector. Managing this programme has never been more complex: this conference exists to support the teachers who lead this task.
