A training scheme set up by the Rugby Players Association has just completed its third successful year. Offering professional Rugby players the opportunity to gain a ‘Certificate in Coaching Rugby in Independent Schools’ and encourage them to think about their options for the future, the programme has led to a growing number of successful appointments in schools, preparing professional players nearing the end of their careers who aspire to coach the next generation of young rugby players.
