Seminars for Independent Schools
Soccer continues to be a rapidly growing sport within independent schools and the challenge for schools and coaches is to adapt with the National game and its ever-changing approach to modern day coaching techniques and practices. This theory-based conference is endorsed by the Independent Schools’ Football Association and is ideal for Heads of football or teacher/coaches coaching 1st & 2nd XI teams.
This Conference will present contemporary content to allow teachers of these age groups to develop their programmes and delivery to ensure that their pupils make optimum progress. Engaging practical sessions will complement the Keynote address, and demonstrate activities designed to create wider impacts. They will show how all pupils can improve these vital skills, including those who struggle with co-ordination.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
Student wellbeing is becoming a developing focus for schools. Both physical and mental health are challenges in an era of new pressures and sedentary lifestyles. The role of physical activity and sport is assuming increased importance in addressing this issue. This Conference brings together a range of international experts, who will present the implications of the most recent research into the impact of sport on mental health.
