The National Curriculum mops up a range of games under the generic title "Striking and Fielding".  In its search for simplification, it omits the other crucial component of these games - bowling.  Once that is included within the definition, then one game separates itself from the others in the category.  That game is Cricket.

The Summer Sports Academy offers young people access to the country’s most inspiring coaches through imaginative programmes in Lacrosse, Netball, Gymnastics and Dance.  The dates for this non residential academy are 24th - 27th July.

There are still places available on our Stuart Lancaster Masterclass on the 12th June at Bisham Abbey. It would be great to see as many school and club coaches there as possible!
