A Dictionary of Effective Drills for Hockey

    Coaches need to constantly refresh their repertoire of practices, and be confident that these are both effective and contemporary. This course looks at the most effective drills for introducing core and skills and building these into more advances techniques. It will also introduce tactical considerations through drills that younger players can develop all areas of the game.

    Course runs 7pm to 8.30pm. This webinar is recorded and a link to the recording will be sent to everyone booked on. This will be available to view for two days.

    Matt Taylor

    Matt Taylor is the current head coach of Nottingham University, who won the BUCS championships in 2015 and 2022. He was previously head coach of Beeston HC in the Men’s Premier Division, winning three championships between 2010-2014. He has also helped developed 60+ junior players gain presentative honours for the National Age Squads as well as having coached 40+ senior Internationals. As a player Matt won seven Championship titles with Cannock HC.
