We look at numbers of players in attacking positions and their roles and responsibilities in each routine. We break the corner down to the individual elements and how you can counter act defensive strategies.
Focusing on:
- Improving the component parts – Injection, Trap and Flick
- Single and double castle
- Moving castles
- Deflections and worked moves
- Follow up patterns

Course Leaders
Matt Taylor
Matt Taylor is the current head coach of Nottingham University, who won the BUCS championships in 2015 and 2022. He was previously head coach of Beeston HC in the Men’s Premier Division, winning three championships between 2010-2014. He has also helped developed 60+ junior players gain presentative honours for the National Age Squads as well as having coached 40+ senior Internationals. As a player Matt won seven Championship titles with Cannock HC.
